The Plastiki crew were met by a welcome flotilla of boats and helicopters as they sailed through Sydney harbour on their way to Sydney’s Australian National Maritime Museum where the arrival ceremony was held in front of a bustling audience of friends, families, press and supporters.
Last night our sole beneficiaries Global Green had their annual Pre-Oscar Party at the Avalon. A great organization and a great party. We saw a live acoustic set by the Madden Bros’, then Camp Freddy rocked the house, with appearances from Juliette Lewis, Steve Jones, Mark McGrath, Steve Stevens to name a few.
We flew the flag…or Shorts of course….a lot more creative than Suzy Amis Cameron’s Oscar dress fiasco!
We hope that next year we can finally have the staff or the entertainment in Shortomatic gear!
